About This Rug Pad

This Teebaud® brand rug pad is perfect for situations where you'd like to keep the pad thin (perhaps where there is a door clearance issue), or for smaller rugs over carpet (we recommend it for any rug over carpet under 6 x 9, and our No-muv pad for larger rugs over carpet). Our customers have been very happy with the way it performs and often come back to purchase Teebaud for all the rugs in their homes.

The thin, light Teebaud underlay is made from two non-woven polyester fabrics that are permanently needle-punched together. The white fabric was developed specifically for application over carpeting, the gray for use on hard floors. Both sides of the Teebaud underlay are lightly coated with a water-based adhesive. The entire Teebaud underlay actually grips the back of the rug and the carpet or floor, firmly anchoring the rug in place to eliminate all movement and buckling. Yet, the clean-lift adhesive allows you to pick up and reposition your rug. The Teebaud underlay's adhesive is completely harmless to carpeting and all floor materials and finishes. Teebaud is also completely odorless. This rug pad is as easy to install as an ordinary rug underlay. Simply cut it to the appropriate size, lay it out with the correct side facing down (white over carpeting, gray over hard floors), then place the rug.

When ordering a Teebaud pad for your rug, simply choose the size closest to your rug size. If you are needing a different size than those listed, please send us a note with the exact length and width measurements of your rug and we will reply with the price. We can Teebaud to exactly the size you need!

Please Note: There are NO RETURNS for any of our padding.

About Rug Pad Sizing

Because our rug pads are manufactured in rolls, we custom-cut the pad for you to the inch. We want the rug to lap over the edge of the pad, we normally cut it 2 to 3 inches smaller in each direction than the actual size of the rug. This is the proper way to pad a rug, hiding the pad from the eye while keeping the edges of your area rug on the floor.
