About This Rug
The heavenly blue field of this rug and charming multi-colored motifs, combined with the designs in flatweave at each end, make this rug a completely lovable addition to any space. The somewhat unusual size is very nice—perhaps perfect for a small dining area. This rug, though hand-knotted in Afghanistan, is based on Persian designs. Though not a true Yalameh, it has the charm and feel of a traditional Persian Yalameh, a tribal design woven primarily by the Qashqai. If you’re patient and can wait a few months, this rug may be made in any size. We require a 50% deposit to start a rug, with the balance due when it’s ready for delivery.
