About This Rug
This beautiful wool and silk rug is a study in color: complementary blues and oranges that vibrate sympathetically. Handknotted with natural dye yarns and handspun wool combined with silk, it allow for the depth of color and variation that makes the rug so interesting. Unexpected highlights, like the grey bits in the top right or the narrow blue lines that can be found inside the field, not to mention that wonderful irregular border in golds and oranges.
