Rustic Rugs

"Rustic" is another one of those words that has multiple interpretations. When we apply it to rugs, we intend to convey that a rugs is warm in colors and design, casual in a homey-woodsy sort of way, perhaps harking back to an earlier time when people lived simpler, certainly non-high-tech, lives.

I feel that the word rustic is perfect when applied to many of our Tibetan rugs. Please visit the "Tibetan Rug" collection and I think you'll agree! Warm, cozy, organic. Handknotted using Tibetan wool, the simplicity of the designs and density of the wonderful wool make them a beautiful addition to a room -- rustic or not!
