About This Rug

This Tibetan rug was designed by Utah artist Laurie Downing and painstakingly woven with subtle transitions of color by Tibetan refugee weavers in Nepal. It is a 100-knot count, made by Tibetan refugee master weavers in Nepal out of all-natural, handspun, hand-carded Tibetan wool fiber (see "What is a Tibetan Rug?"). Reflections (plum) was recipient of a Magnificent Carpets Award at the National Oriental Rug Show. Reflections (plum) glows with color in gradual steps of cinnamons, rusts and warm neutrals.

This gem offers great versatility for many settings and would be ideal for bringing your own colors to the table. Visit the "Customize" tab, and we'll get started weaving your strike-off (a small sample rug) for your stamp of approval!
