About This Rug

This rug is constructed with a very sturdy soumak weave from our Kazak collection. These durable flatweave rugs are created through a warp-wrapping process (see "Soumak"). This collection features unique tribal designs that are consistent with the original Caucasian carpets from which they're derived. This rug features vibrant colors and subtle abrash (variations) that please the contemporary eye while honoring tradition. Handwoven in India of 100% New Zealand wool.
