About This Rug
This happy carpet is a reinterpretation of a souzani design originally woven in embroidery construction (see our Soumak collection). A Tibetan carpet, masterfully woven in Kathmandu, Nepal with handspun Tibetan wool (see "What is a Tibetan Rug?"), this carpet is also available in a gorgeous yellow-green field, or background.
Designed by Kim Whitesides, this rug will grace your floor for many years -- unlike so many of the less durable tufted or synthetic rugs on the market. This rug is also available in rounds.
