A Persian design, this rug was created with our Soumak weave - a warp-wrapping process that results in a very durable and sturdy handmade rug while still remaining affordable. Woven in 100% New Zealand wool on a cotton warp, these rugs are completely natural and nontoxic -- as contrasted with so many of the tufted and synthetic rugs being sold today.
