About This Rug

Constructed with very sturdy, long-lasting soumak weave from our Kazak collection, these durable flatweave rugs are created by a warp-wrapping process (see "Soumak"). Kazaks are unique tribal designs that are consistent with the original Caucasian carpets from which they're derived. The prices of the soumaks make owning a beautiful oriental rug affordable. Vibrant colors and subtle abrash (variations) please the contemporary eye while honoring tradition. Handwoven in India of all-natural,100% New Zealand wool.
