Rugs Designed By McCray Magleby

McRay Magelby ~ Home Decor Artist 

 

A professor of graphic design at the University of Utah, McRay Magleby is an artist of many talents and multiple media. In addition to paintings and drawings, he's created sculptural designs for the Utah Governor's Mansion and a stained glass window for the Provo public library. For his rugs, he turns to archetypal ethnic motifs for inspiration, adding his own sense of color and form. Many of McRay's carpets are featured in Robert Redford's Sundance Catalog including Kilimanjaro Knotted Rug (sage), Kilimanjaro Knotted Rug (beige), and Kilimanjaro Knotted Rug (chocolate).
