About This Rug

This unique tribal design is faithful to the motifs of the original Caucasian carpets from which it's derived. It is a durable flatweave rug, created by a warp-wrapping process, and constructed in a very sturdy, hardwearing soumak weave from our Kazak collection (see "Soumak"). Vibrant colors and subtle abrash (variations) please the contemporary eye, while honoring tradition. Handwoven in India of 100% New Zealand wool.
