Kimono (Platinum)
About This Rug
This elegant design is now available in the new “Platinum” version, following the original “Gold” Kimono and “Taupe” Kimono, identical in every way except for the color changes. Handknotted in Nepal by Tibetan refugee weavers, this rug with its very subtle color variations requires skillful weavers. The fine gradations of color in the background show no lines of demarcation, not to mention the yarns that must be dyed for each subtle gradation. 100-knot weave, gorgeous handspun, hand-carded Tibetan wool. Available in rounds, standard sizes from 2 x 3 to 10 x 14, as well as custom sizes.
Visit the “Customize” tab, and we’ll get started weaving your strike-off (a small sample rug) for your stamp of approval!
