This marvelous rug is reminiscent of many Persian tribal rugs (Baluch, Gabbeh, Soumak) with its little camels, people and flower motifs. A gorgeous rich red that has the color variation of a natural-dye rug and the character of a great tribal rug. These soumaks are so durable, plus they’re reversible. Soumaks are a type of flat weave that is thicker and sturdier than a kilim.
