Reflections (ash)
About This Rug
This “Ash” Reflections is a new version of our classic Reflections rug. As are the “Red,” “Plum” and “Teal” versions, it’s woven in a 100-knot Tibetan weave. The subtle flow and cool color changes make me think of a mountain stream! Handwoven by Tibetan refugees in Nepal from wonderful, handspun, hand-carded Tibetan wool. (see “What is a Tibetan rug?”)
Reflections (Plum) was the recipient of the Best Contemporary Rug award at the National Oriental Rug Show when it was introduced. This new “Ash” color combination is perfect for so many contemporary settings where a rug that is gorgeous but doesn’t shout “gorgeous” is wanted: subtle, peaceful, and lovely. Design by Laurie Downing, an artist in Utah.
