Reflections (plum)
About This Rug
As gorgeous and as inviting as a pool of water, this rug was painstakingly woven with subtle transitions of color in a 100-knot weave. Made by Tibetan refugee weavers in Nepal out of all-natural, handspun, hand-carded Tibetan wool fiber (see "What is a Tibetan Rug?").
This design was recipient of a Magnificent Carpets Award at the National Oriental Rug Show. Reflections (Plum) shimmers with subtle gradations of color in dark plums, organic greens and soft greys. It is a rug with great versatility for many settings, and it is also available in red. Designed by Laurie Downing, a Utah artist.
